Applications for four 3-bedroom homes on Dickinson Drive in Marstons Mills are open from Thursday, October 12, 2017 to Tuesday, December 12, 2017.
The deadline for application submission to the Habitat office is Tuesday, December 12, 2017. (Mail or Drop off to Habitat for Humanity of Cape Cod, 411 Main Street (Route 6A), Suite 6, Yarmouth Port, MA 02675). The application has to be received by our office on or before the deadline above.
The 3-bedroom homes are ranch-style in appearance.
We anticipate home construction to take about 12 months from wall raising day.
There will be a home owners association, with a monthly fee to cover plowing, road drainage and maintenance, and any other common features. The association will contract with a property manager to collect the fees, and assist in property management, as needed.
Each home will have town water with private individual septic systems.
Pending funding commitments, we hope to have photovoltaic solar panels on each house.
Maximum income eligibility is at or below 65% of area median income by household size for one home, and at or below 60% of area median income by household size for the other three homes.
Applicant households must be willing to commit many hours of sweat equity to building the home and have a housing need. Learn more about eligibility.
The monthly housing payment (mortgage, taxes, insurance, homeowner association fee) for these homes is estimated to be around $715 per month depending on house size and other terms.
