3 homes (1, 2 and 3 bedrooms) were completed at 143 Route 6 in Truro in October of 2018. All the homes have solar photovoltaic panels, and the one-bedroom has a composting toilet. Other septic systems are conventional.

This project was generously supported by the Town of Truro Community Preservation Act Funds, Federal Home Loan Bank of Boston, Highland Affordable Housing, Cape Air and Seamen’s Bank.
Construction Financing was by Cape Cod Five Cents Savings Bank and Home Mortgages are by United States Department of Agriculture and Habitat's 2017 Solar Program was generously funded by Cape Light Compact JPE and Massachusetts Clean Energy Center.
These homes were built with a dedicated corps of community volunteers, the sweat equity of the owners, and many generous contributions from the community.
Each Habitat for Humanity home built on Cape Cod is deed restricted so that any future resale will be at an affordable price to an eligible buyer.
