DENNIS, MA – Habitat for Humanity of Cape Cod announces the upcoming Home Dedication Ceremony for three newly completed, energy-efficient homes on Jack Delaney Lane in Dennis. Over the past year, the three families have contributed sweat equity alongside volunteers, donors, and community members to help build their homes. The future homeowners will close on their affordable mortgages, held by Cape & Coast Bank, in the coming months as they establish roots in the Dennis community.

The Home Dedication Ceremony will be held on Monday, January 26, at 1 PM (rain, snow, or shine), with guest parking available in the gravel lot near the power lines behind the Dennis Senior Center (1045 Route 134, Dennis). Please note that parking is not available on Jack Delaney Lane.

These homes were built through the combined efforts of community volunteers, future homeowners completing sweat equity, and many generous sponsors and supporters.

For more information about the Home Dedication Ceremony, please contact Volunteer & Community Relations Manager Sandra Harrison at sandra@habitatcapecod.org.

Habitat for Humanity of Cape Cod has built nearly 200 homes from Bourne to Provincetown, and in 2026, new builds in Falmouth, Brewster, and Pocasset will begin. Additional builds over the next few years are planned for Yarmouth, Marstons Mills, Orleans, and North Falmouth. Qualifying families are selected via drawing. Future homeowners contribute sweat equity by helping build their homes alongside local volunteers, and then they purchase their homes with an affordable mortgage. Habitat Cape Cod has been nationally recognized for building energy-efficient, affordable homes. All homes are deed-restricted to remain affordable in perpetuity. Habitat Cape Cod relies on the generosity of our community to build affordable homes with local Cape Cod families. Donations can be made online at habitatcapecod.org or by mail to 411 Main Street, Suite 6, Yarmouth Port, MA 02675, ensuring that all gifts directly support local homebuilding efforts.
