It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our dear friend, longtime volunteer, home sponsor, and treasured member of the Habitat Cape Cod family, Paul Coteus.

Paul was a kind, talented, and brilliant man. He made everyone feel welcomed and always looked for ways to improve the impact of Habitat for Humanity of Cape Cod. Paul cared deeply about the environment and reducing his carbon footprint. He was an active member of our Deconstruction team and part of our core construction groups at Mendes Way and Degrass Road in Mashpee, Willett Way in Falmouth, and Cotuit Road in Sandwich. Paul and his wife, Carol, showed their generosity as Home Sponsors for the Habitat home on Nauset Street in Sandwich. Whether swinging a hammer or offering quiet encouragement, Paul left a lasting impression on those around him. We will remember Paul for his humble nature, warm smile, and tireless dedication to the environment, the community, and Habitat Cape Cod.
