Faith In Action
Habitat for Humanity and the faith community are natural partners – each seeking to serve God by serving those in need. Habitat for Humanity is an “active” cause, providing faith communities an opportunity to work hand in hand with families in need of a safe, decent, affordable home. Habitat for Humanity of Cape Cod invites the faith community to partner with them, knowing your mission aligns with their mission.
Your faith community can help build a home and watch a happy, grateful family move in. From providing devotions and snacks on volunteer build days, being a family mentor, youth groups building book cases, or others making quilts, there are so many ways that your congregation can be an active part of building a home. Throughout the years Habitat has held close relationships with 60+ congregations spanning all 15 towns on the Cape, resulting in significant financial and volunteer support. Habitat Cape Cod works to bring affordable home ownership to people of all faiths and those of no faith.
