Ride for Homes

• Choose 1 of 3 routes to bike – 12, 20, or 40 miles. The Run/Walk is on the access road along the Cape Cod Canal.
• Start and end for all routes is at the Aptucxet Trading Post Museum in Bourne, where there is ample parking. 
• Check-in is required and begins at 7am.
• The 40-mile and 20-mile rides starts at 8:00am.
• The Run/Walk starts at 9:00am.
• The 12-mile ride starts at 10:00am.
• The 40 and 20 mile routes will be marked with signs.
• There is no minimum age to ride. Riders age 18 and under must ride with an adult during the entire ride. See additional requirements under “Youth Riders” below.
• Registration for all is $95 and the fundraising minimum is $300 (registration is included in this minimum.)
• Custom Ride for Homes shirt included with your registration.
• Raise $1,000 or more for the first time and receive a complimentary Ride for Homes VIP cycling jersey. 
• The event is rain or shine. In the event of lightning or other dangerous conditions, we will delay the event until conditions improve. Please watch for weather related updates via email and this website.
• Helmets are required. NO EXCEPTIONS.
• E-Bikes are welcome.
• A Support and Gear (SAG) vehicle will be available along the 20 and 40-mile routes to provide assistance or transport any cyclist in need.
• Pets are not allowed at the Ride.
• After the event, please join us at the Aptucxet Trading Post Museum for a BBQ lunch including beer, games, prizes, and live music!

We love having families participate in the Ride for Homes!

• All riders 18 and under, must be accompanied by a parent or responsible adult (at least 21 years of age) at all times.
• All riders 12 and under, “Juniors,” 12 mile route only, accompanied by an adult.
• There is no Registration fee or Fundraising requirement for riders 12 and under.
• Helmets are required. NO EXCEPTIONS.
• All riders ages 12-18 must review the Safety Plan with a parent or responsible adult.
• One parent/adult may be responsible for no more than 3 “Junior” riders.
• Even if the child is on a tandem bicycle, all the requirements above still apply.
• No trailers, tagalongs, or child carriers are allowed on the Ride.

Everyone who hits the $1,000 fundraising mark for the first time will receive one of these awesome jerseys.
