Ride Info & Requirements →

• Choose from 3 BIKE routes – 14, 20, or 50 miles
• Choose to RUN or WALK a 5K or 10K along the Cape Cod Canal Bikeway
• Start and end for all routes is at the US Coast Guard Station Cape Cod Canal in Sandwich, where there is ample parking

• 6:30am – Check-in for 50 Mile Riders 
• 7:00am – 50 Mile Ride starts
• 8:00am – Check-in for the 20 & 14 Mile Rides, Run & Walk 
• 9:00am – 20 & 14 Mile Rides, Run & Walk start 

• The 50 and 20 mile routes will be marked with signs.
• There is no minimum age to ride. Riders age 18 and under must ride with an adult during the entire ride. See additional requirements under “Youth Riders” below.

• Registration for all is $95
• $300 Fundraising minimum for the 50, 20 & 14 Mile Bike Riders (registration is included in this minimum)
• $200 Fundraising minimum for Runners and Walkers (registration is included in this minimum)

• Custom performance hoodie is included with your registration, if you reach the fundraising mark by 8am on Ride day.
• Raise $1,000 or more for the first time, and receive a complimentary Ride for Homes vest. 
• The event is rain or shine. In the event of lightning or other dangerous conditions, we will delay the event until conditions improve. Please watch for weather related updates via email and this website.
• Helmets are required. NO EXCEPTIONS.
• E-Bikes are welcome.
• A Support and Gear (SAG) vehicle will be available along the 20 and 50-mile routes to provide assistance or transport any cyclist in need.
• Pets are not allowed at the Ride.
• After the event, please join us for lunch including games, prizes, and music!

Ride for Homes Safety Plan →

We love having families participate in the Ride for Homes!

• All riders 18 and under, must be accompanied by a parent or responsible adult (at least 21 years of age) at all times.
• All riders 12 and under, “Juniors,” 14 mile route only, accompanied by an adult.
• There is no Registration fee or Fundraising requirement for riders 12 and under.
• Helmets are required. NO EXCEPTIONS.
• All riders ages 12-18 must review the Safety Plan with a parent or responsible adult.
• One parent/adult may be responsible for no more than 3 “Junior” riders.
• Even if the child is on a tandem bicycle, all the requirements above still apply.
• No trailers, tagalongs, or child carriers are allowed on the Ride.
