Application/Information Workshops for Prospective Buyers
Habitat for Humanity of Cape Cod has announced that the affordable homeownership application period for one three-bedroom home on Horne Avenue in Pocasset (Bourne) has been extended for thirty days (June 18 – July 20, 2026). Applicant households need to make at or less than 80% of the Barnstable County 2025 Area Median Income (AMI).
Applicants are strongly urged to attend one of the in-person or virtual Zoom Habitat Cape Cod Application/Information Workshops for prospective buyers.
Application/Information Workshops took place on June 30th and July 8th. If you were unable to attend a workshop and have questions, please email applications@habitatcapecod.org.
Local families help build their own homes alongside volunteers and pay an affordable mortgage. Habitat Cape Cod homes are deed-restricted to remain affordable in perpetuity.

Tickets are available for purchase at our ReStore locations in Yarmouth (28 Whites Path, South Yarmouth) and Falmouth (805 Gifford Street Extension, Falmouth), or by clicking here to purchase online. Tickets are $5 each, $20 for 5, or $40 for 15. The winner will be drawn in October 2026; you don’t need to be present to win.
Falmouth Road Race - Team Habitat Cape Cod
Team Habitat Cape Cod is running the iconic Falmouth Road Race once again this year. The 54th running is on Sunday, August 16th at 8:00am. We have 11 runners on Team Habitat as part of the Numbers for Nonprofits Charity Program. The fundraising requirement for each runner on the team is $1,500; support our runners and help us build more affordable homes for Cape Cod families! Click HERE to donate to a runner or the team.

Upper Cape Chapter Meeting Schedule
Please join Habitat for Humanity of Cape Cod at an upcoming Upper Cape meeting! It’s a great opportunity to meet with volunteers and supporters, and to learn more about Habitat Cape Cod and what’s planned for events and builds, and how you can help! RSVP isn’t required and this meeting is open to the public. Please bring a friend if you can! *As builds commence in the Upper Cape area, additional meetings might be added to the meeting schedule.
All meetings are held at 4 PM in the Parish Hall of Waquoit Congregational Church (15 Parsons Lane, Falmouth).

A kickoff party will take place on Tuesday, August 11th, at 5 PM, for the September 21–25, 2026 Home Builders Blitz Build. During the five-day build, Home Builders and Remodelers Association of Cape Cod (HBRACC) members will construct a Cape-style home at 805 Gifford Street Extension in Falmouth. The Blitz home is one of four affordable homes being built behind the Falmouth ReStore as part of Habitat’s continued effort to address Cape Cod’s housing crisis.
A Home Builders Blitz is a home constructed from frame to finish in just one week, donated to Habitat for Humanity of Cape Cod. Every two years, the HBRACC and hundreds of its members and associates donate materials and supplies and volunteer countless hours of skilled labor to build a Habitat Cape Cod home that will be purchased by a local family with an affordable mortgage. The Home Builders Blitz partnership between Habitat and HBRACC began in 2013 and continues every two years, with successful builds in Orleans, Harwich, Brewster, Dennis, and Falmouth, highlighting the urgent need for affordable homeownership for local families and the commitment of the home building industry to supporting that goal.
